RSMAS Underwater Tour is an educational virtual reality documentary experience created for the Aquaculture Program and Experimental Hatchery at the University of Miami's Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science in 2017.
RSMAS Underwater Tour gives audiences the sensations of being underwater to observe exotic fish and other marine life. This was achieved using a customized waterproof 360-degree camera system. Voiceover and visual aids by the aquaculture lab's researchers were included to educate the general public about different ecosystems and species of fish.
